"Static in the Attic" is fresh and new, containing a delicate
mix of midwestern jazz, funk and some new age sounds too. Rudimentally
based on the sounds of the 70's and 80's with influences of R&B, modern
jazz and easy listening. "I loved the rhythm section and the background vocals. That is what encourged me to be a musician. My main instrument is electronic drums, and the music on this CD is electronically made music, for people like me who love electronic instruments." Artist, MJ |

As the legendary Miles Davis once said "musicians have to
play the instruments that best reflect the time we're in. Play the
technology that will give you what you want to hear." from the autobiograhpy "Miles" by Miles Davis and Quincy Troupe, 1989 That book changed my understanding of music, music theory, composing, and electronic music. "Static in the Attic" is dedicated to the late, legendary Miles Davis. "May you rest in peace in heaven." From your unknown friend, MJ. |
